In our modern world, is it easy to react to everyday stressors, especially around the busy Holiday season. Over time, this built up stress causes ailments and issues within our physical, mental and spiritual health.
What does our parasympathetic nervous system do?
When the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) is activated, it slows our heart and breathing rates, lowers blood pressure and promotes digestion. Our body enters a state of relaxation, and this relaxation breeds recovery. The more time we spend in a PSNS state, the healthier we are.
Obtaining your parasympathetic nervous system helps you feel calm and at ease, making the everyday flow of life easier to navigate and helps making it easier to detach from our “fight or flight” mode.
Come as you are and join us for a gentle warm slow flow yoga practice that will incorporate nervous system reset techniques, breath work and will end with a relaxing crystal bowl sound bath mediation.
Mat rentals $3
Bring yoga mat and water and a blanket for savasana if you decide to want one.
